A beginner-friendly bird and poetry walk led by poet Megan Kaminski, editor of Words of a Feather, and Molly Zahn, an experienced birder. The event is oriented to connecting with the more-than-human world. Guided by the words of poets and our own senses, this humanities hike through a natural bird habitat will spark a discussion about fostering relationships of care and mutuality. The program will share tips for those new to birding and offer new possibilities for engaging with and within our common home.
