Poetries of Radical Kindness and Care

Michael Kleber-Diggs and Megan Kaminski in conversation with moderator Becky Mandelbaum

Poet Kleber-Diggs, whose award-winning collection Worldly Things explores what it is like, at this time, to be a sensitive, caring, black man in the American Midwest, talks with Megan Kaminski, whose own new book Gentlewomen explores how women often find themselves in a care-taking position, asked to nurture others with few resources or recognition.  Their conversation is moderated by  Becky Mandelbaum, author of a new novel that also explores themes of radical kindness and care: The Bright Side Sanctuary for Animals.
